Heart & Purpose awards educational scholarships to graduating Fairfield County high school seniors, enrolling full-time at in-state college or university. Our U.S. Scholarship Program supports the educational advancement of students in Fairfield County by providing financial support and mentorship.
For the 2025-2026 academic year, we are thrilled to announce that we have expanded our U.S. scholarship in number and the amount granted.
THREE scholarships in the amount of $1250 each will be awarded to outstanding high school seniors in Fairfield County. We will be awarding:
Two (2) scholarships to any Fairfield County graduating high school senior who meet eligibility requirements and,
In commemoration of a dedicated supporter of our nonprofit and educational programs, we proudly introduce The Sheena Jeune Memorial Scholarship which will be awarded to
One (1) graduating high school senior of Haitian/Haitian American descent.

Graduating high school senior and a resident of Fairfield County (i.e. Stamford, Norwalk, Bridgeport). *
Enrolled as a full-time freshman at an accredited in-state college or university by Fall 2025.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Must demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility
Must complete 2025-2026 scholarship application.
Provide a 500 word essay.
Be enrolled for Fall 2025 semester and provide a copy of tuition bill and class schedule.
Participation in Heart & Purpose Mentoring Program.
Requirements
Students applying need to provide all requested documents, completed forms, and the essay required for the scholarship.
All information provided to Heart & Purpose during the application process is confidential.
Selected applicants will be invited for an interview with the Scholarship Committee.
* Student must be of Haitian/Haitian-American descent to be considered for the Sheena Jeune Memorial Scholarship.
